2012 1,000 Mile Tour to New Hampshire

Save the dates! August 18-August 25, 2012 for GVACS 1000 Miler, brought to you by Carolyn Burke, Nancy Huffman, Sharon Kron and me. Yes, the committee consists of all ladies, but we promise that it will not be a one week shopping spree. We will leave on Saturday, August 18th and drive to Bennington VT where we will stay at the Hampton Inn. Sunday we will drive to Tilton, NH where we will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Sunday night through Thursday night. On the way, we will visit the Robert Todd Lincoln House and make a quick stop at the Vermont Country Store. The rest of our Tour will include a visit to Canterbury Village, Castle in the Clouds, Country Store/Museum in Moultonborough, a cruise around Lake Winnipesaukee and choices of the WWII Wright Museum, Pewter Factory, or Boat Museum in Wolfeboro. We will visit Clark Bears, in Lincoln New Hampshire and perhaps a stop at Calvin Coolidge's Home. Our farewell banquet is scheduled for Friday at Bennington Station in VT and we will drive home Saturday, August 25th. We are still finalizing destinations, but we hope you plan to join the tour.
